Ardent Leisure confirms two new attractions

Ardent Leisure has confirmed that their two Gold Coast parks will receive new attractions in time for the April school holidays.

Dreamworld is to launch a night-time spectacular named Illuminate, which will combine an emotional soundtrack, special effects, pyrotechnics and architectural lighting to create a show that will transform the park's Main Street into SpongeBob SquarePants' underwater home.

Illuminate will be shown nightly from April 2 to 16.

WhiteWater World will also launch a new slide in time for the school holidays, known as The Wedgie.

The Wedgie will feature a trapdoor that plunges guests into a tight helix, before sending them flying towards the splashdown pool.

ProSlide will supply and build The Wedgie.
