The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo has kicked off in Las Vegas, which brings in thousands of industry experts from around the world to showcase their products to potential buyers.

New rides, industry trends and sales strategies will be among the many different topics being discussed over the next few days.

The Las Vegas Convention Center is the host for this year's event, which saw the center transformed into a temporary theme park filled with rides, games and food stalls from over 1,000 different exhibitors.

Special guest speakers are also an important aspect of the IAAPA Expos, with this year's key speakers being the co-founder of the Blue Man Group, Matt Goldman, and Peter Herschend, Vice Chairman of Herschend Family Entertainment Corporation.

More than 25,000 professionals from the world's leading tourism venues will attend this year's Expo.

The IAAPA Expo is open until November 20.
