The Intimidator's lift hill reaches full height

Carowinds' newest attraction for the 2010 season -- The Intimidator -- has reached full height today after months of intense construction work.

The 71-metre-tall giant was manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard (B&M) and will become the tallest roller coaster in the Southeast.

The Intimidator is similar in design to Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland and Diamondback at Kings Island.

Carowinds opens for the 2010 season in five months and weekly blog updates can be found on Carowinds' Facebook and Twitter page.
