Six Flags America to add Thomas Town

Six Flags America has announced that it will open North America's largest instalment of Thomas Town, a children's area themed to the popular Thomas & Friends brand, in 2010.

Thomas Town will be Six Flags America's largest expansion in over a decade and will feature eight rides and attractions specially designed for kids.

Park goers will even have the opportunity to ride a Thomas the Tank Engine replica through Thomas' mythical home on the Island of Sodor.

Thomas Town at Six Flags America is to open by summer.
